Scholar is a Melodic Punk/Rock act from Rochester, NY. If you’ve been familiar with the local music scene throughout the last decade then you’ve probably seen or heard some of the members’ previous projects, each of varying genres. And as much as we’d like to say “If you liked those bands, you’ll love us!”, we cannot. This time we’re bringing something fresh to your ears, something completely different from what you’d expect at a local rock show. This time around our goal is simple– to write, record and play songs for our friends, new and old. Songs that we love, songs that mean something to us. Isn’t that what music is about?
